Nigerian Culture
What is culture? Culture is the beliefs of a certain group. More specifically, what is Nigerian Culture? We should understand what other cultures are like so that we can have a better relationship with those people. If we know this, then we can prevent disagreements between cultures regarding beliefs.
If we learn Nigerian traditions this could help us to build a better relationship with Nigeria. Some Nigerian traditions include Islamic naming ceremonies, and Islamic burial rituals. So if we learn and practice their traditions, they would accept us. Another way to put this would be for them to see us in a better light.
Furthermore, learning about the Nigerian lifestyle would help build a better relationship. This could help because we are taking time to learn about them. Also, learning the language would be a good way to build the relationship. This would also open up the possibility of going to live with them, which would build the bond.
As well as learning about the lifestyle, learning about Nigerian food could strengthen the bond. Learning about how to make Nigerian food could help with the bond because if we could cook the traditional meals and shared it with them, it would show that we took the time and care to properly prepare the food. Going to special festivals could also strengthen the bond because it would show that we want to learn as much as we can about their traditions, food, and lifestyle. The festivals would especially would build the best relationship.
At the beginning of the paper, I asked what culture is and how learning about it could strengthen the relationship between us and Nigerians. I talked about the different ways that we could strengthen the relationship. All in all, we learned a lot, but there is still much more to learn. so I am going to end this off with a question, why do you think it is important to strengthen the relationship between us and the people of a culture?
